In the Junior High Department, we prepare pupils for the West African Basic Entrance Certificate Examination (BECE). The school's JHS is divided into two sections, the St. Peter's section and the Archimedes section, with the aim of allowing some form of competition between the two sections.
The school runs a very intensive program with extra classes for its finalists at the JHS to better prepare them for the BECE. This has greatly paid off as the school has successively over the years obtained 100% passes and distinctions in the BECE results and continues to excel. Its students have gained admission into some of the top senior high schools in Ghana.
The department has a highly qualified and trained staff, whose dedication and hardwork continue to contribute to the school's excellent performance at the BECE.
