St. Peter's Senior High School was established in 2003 with a modest student enrolment of 42. This batch sat for the newly-established West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in May/June 2006. The duration of the course was then 3 years. This batch, comprising 14 females and 24 males obtained excellent results thereby establishing the tradition of high academic achievement that is characteristic of the school.
